La Dolce Vita: Slow Days in Italy
18 October 2026 · Dinh Huy
This series is Italy in autumn: the Langhe hills in Piedmont, Turin and Milan, and, much further south, Naples. A part of the world built around food, light and taking your time.
The Langhe. Vineyard hills, villages stacked on the ridges and, in autumn, harvest and truffle season. At six the glasses come out on a terrace, the hills turn pink and nobody is in a hurry to leave.
The cities. Turin's long arcades are made for slow walking, the glass roof of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan is worth the detour, and Naples is loud, chaotic and beautiful.
Slow travel. Late mornings, long lunches and walks without a plan. Italy rewards taking your time, and most of these frames came from simply wandering.
How it was shot. Shot on Fujifilm and graded warm and filmic, because that is how Italy feels: golden, unhurried and slightly out of time. The in-camera settings are on the Fujifilm Recipes page.
